Borsberry Law Offices, P.C. is a proud sponsor of the Peoria Push Derby Dames Roller Derby Team.
WHO ARE THE PEORIA PUSH DERBY DAMES? The Peoria Push Derby Dames (also referred to as ‘The Push’) are a women’s flat-track roller derby team owned and operated by the skaters, for the skaters. Currently, The Push is only funded through skater dues. We are a non-profit league that operates under the Women’s Flat Track Association (WFTDA) whose motto is, “By the Skaters. For the Skaters” and “Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary.” Roller Derby is the newest and most modern sport to watch and play and The Push wants to bring it to Peoria, Illinois! Our mission is to provide an opportunity to build a positive relationship with women in the community through the sport of roller derby. We will demonstrate that women of all walks of life can be strong and independent, while managing a career and a personal life. We are a non-profit, charitable organization whose main focus is the empowerment of women. Roller derby appeals to a wide demographic – reaching the punk rockers to the soccer moms, to the hard-core sports fans all at the same time! There are few sports that reach as diverse a crowd as roller derby and with your partnership, we will help you reach that audience!
